Description
The Votex Salix is a unique type of flail mower, that can operate anywhere from behind the tractor out to 4-2 metre offset. Its two-arm design gives the reach of a side arm but with the mowing speed of an in-line machine.
The head itself has the versatility to work from +90 degrees through to -60 degrees, combined, this makes this machine ideal for operating on banks, ditches over barriers and around obstacles.
The rotor is power-belt driven (no need for hydraulic motors that overheat and lose power ) and has the renowned Jumbo/Roadmaster flail system fitted, giving excellent results at high speed. A tractor weight of 4,500 kg and at least 100hp is needed.
